Introduction
You don’t always need a full house repaint to make your property feel brand new. For this modern four-bedroom family home in Truganina, the client requested a smart, cost-effective partial interior refresh. While half of the house remained in excellent structural condition, high-traffic common areas and main walls required specialized repair and repainting to eliminate wear and tear.
The Main Challenge
The project involved two primary tasks. First, certain sections of the walls had developed noticeable settling cracks and superficial surface damage that needed immediate plastering attention before any paint could be applied. Second, the living area featured an outdated, dark grey-blue feature wall that disrupted the open-plan flow of the house. The challenge was to eliminate this dark feature wall and blend the new coats seamlessly with the existing, untouched white walls without leaving any visible paint lines.
