Introduction
Transforming an outdated exterior can completely redefine a property’s street presence. We recently completed a stunning 4-day exterior brick painting and facade makeover for a residential property located in Kings Park.
The Main Challenge
The original 1980s brown brickwork felt heavy, dated, and lacked modern curb appeal. Beyond aesthetics, raw brick is highly porous and absorbs moisture over time. Painting exterior brick is a highly specialized task; traditional brushes and rollers struggle to penetrate the deep mortar joints evenly, often leaving patchy, inconsistent coverage. Additionally, the property featured extensive glass windows and a beautiful timber decking area that required absolute protection from any paint splatter.
The Golden Deco Solution
We structured this 4-day project with a highly technical exterior workflow. Days 1 and 2 were dedicated entirely to high-pressure washing and rigorous asset protection. We meticulously masked all window trims and completely sealed the timber deck flooring with heavy drop sheets to ensure a 100% spotless environment. To overcome the porous brick challenge, we deployed commercial airless spray equipment. Spraying allows the paint to atomize and penetrate every deep masonry groove perfectly. We applied a specialized exterior binding primer, followed by a durable, UV-resistant matte finish using premium Taubmans. Handed over in exactly 4 days, the transformation is absolute.
